An Australian importer of agricultural machinery had experienced problems with existing suppliers to coordinate overseas container arrivals, customs clearance, storage and distribution to remote Australian locations.
The difficulties they had related to a lack of understanding of the process and a lack of knowledge of where the product was at any particular time during the supply chain. They could not give their customers a delivery time with any confidence. Their customers needed this equipment for harvesting purposes and scheduled work around the expected arrival date.
Logical works with the client to manage and coordinate the movement from shipping through to delivery resulting in significant improvements to efficiencies, reduced costs, and a single point of communication for the client.
